Where it all began - in praise of the IVF Positivity Planner

This book is a complete life saver! I am about to start my second round of IVF and I really wish I had had this book with me on my first cycle. It is so informative, supportive, beautifully written and lets you feel you have a friend with you along your journey. If you or someone you know is about to start a cycle you need to tell them about this book!

A little bit about me...

Hi, I’m Sarah. After my own 6-year battle with infertility and IVF, I created the “IVF Positivity Planner” and retrained as a fertility coach so I could improve the experience of women walking the same path that I did.

Now, I’m an experienced Personal Development Coach and best-selling author who specialises in supporting women through challenging stages in their lives.

How? By creating a strong emotional foundation, and harnessing the power of positivity to cope with all the curve balls that life throws our way.

I’m thrilled to say that the IVF Positivity Planner, now an international best-seller, has helped women all over the world to regain control of their IVF treatment and feel calmer, more informed and more positive.

Now, I want to do it all again - with an even more personal touch - through the “Empower your IVF” course.

Read on below to explore the course content in more depth and book your place - I’m so excited to meet you!

Love,

Sarah x

What my clients say about working with me...

Michelle...

"The course with Sarah was fabulous. I really feel that the daily tasks were not only a great distraction, away from the solid and never-ending focus on IVF, they were really great at making me feel positive and good about myself.

I think Sarah’s approach really helped me look at my thoughts and make sense of some of the more negative ones, and turn them into positives - and the course happened to fall during my 2nd round of IVF, which I’d been extremely apprehensive about. Not only did that cycle not go to plan at all, it has now been paused, having found more issues that need exploring and resolving before we carry on – and I can’t tell you how much more positive I feel than I thought I would have done at this stage, before I started the course with Sarah.

The support, suggestions and ideas from the others in the group are also really great too – helped me feel not so alone on my journey, whilst still keeping a level of anonymity (ie I’m not ready to sit in a group meeting and chat through stuff in person).

Lastly – the 1-2-1 with Sarah was the best ever. I was really anxious about how it would all go – what it would involve. As it happens, it couldn’t have been timed better, for when my round started to go awry. Sarah really put me at ease, and we ended up chatting like old friends, really relaxed, and I came out feeling 100% times more positive than I’d arrived. I think it’s a safe bet to say, that I plan to book more 1-2-1 sessions with Sarah nearer the time of my cycle resuming.

It really made me feel like I really was doing everything in my power to be positive, doing everything in my power to make IVF work. I do think it played a part in me ending up with double the embryos I had in my first round."

"I found your course really helpful, making me take the time to really think about me. The tip of having a happy song for when I start to wobble is such a brilliant idea and I will definitely be using it.
The group has been great and knowing that you're not the only person on this journey is a great comfort. It's been good to offer advice and to receive some.
I will definitely keep in touch and let you know how we are getting on."

Parm

"Thanks for all the support during the course I feel better.
I focus on good things in our life and we spend time together and plan things to do together and no fertility talk. I check my notes when I feel down and it really helps. I'm aiming to do all the exercises again. Thanks for showing me positive stuff rather than thinking about negative feelings all the time. It has been really good six weeks."

Any Questions You Might Have...

Q: How can coaching help me?

A: It can be hard to make changes when you are feeling overwhelmed, having a coach on your side will help you take control, make action plans and stay accountable. I've also been through it myself so I'll be kind and empathic when supporting you.

Q: What additional support will I get?

A:You will have access to a support community of other people on the same journey, with weekly check ins so that all course members can support each other.

Q: What format is the course?

A: All the content is available online for you straight away, and you can access each section as and when you need it. The support community will be a closed facebook group. There is a live version of the course that I launch twice a year, which gives you 10 weeks of live support from me as you work through the course.

Q: Where would the support community be based?

A: It will be on Facebook, its a private and closed group just for course members.

Q: Do I have to be just about to start treatment to do the course?

A: No :) The ideal would be to sign up before you start treatment, but you will get access to everything as soon as you sign up, so you can skip to the bits you need, as and when you need them.

Q: How long is the course?

A: You have 2 years of access to the information and the support group access is for as long as you need and want it.

Q: Is this only suitable if I live in the UK?

A: Nope, everyone is welcome :) Time difference may make some of the group calls in the live version a bit trickier, but everything is recorded and if you can't make a call you can send me any questions you have and I will cover them in the session.

Q: I'm going through treatment on my own - is it suitable for me?

A: Yes you can still do the course. One of the pillars covers relationships, but you can still complete the workbooks thinking about other important relationships in your life, and all the other information and support is relevant. There is also a video interview with someone who chose to go through IVF as a solo parent, to give you support and advice.

Q: I am in a same sex couple starting a family, is the course suitable for me?

A: Definitely! The course is completely inclusive and we'd love to support you on your journey. There is a workbook specifically for supporting partners whilst going through treatment, and a video interview with someone talking about his experience of same sex conception and surrogacy.
